My quiet journey to storytelling
I'm mostly a loner and have been for as long as I can remember. I spent most of my childhood behind the door of my room, where I believe my great imagination flourished. It feels like I've always wanted to be an author, creating worlds and characters. Despite my solitary nature, I deeply cherish my family. We enjoy movie nights and holidays together, always ending our days with "good night" and "I love you."
Family, home, and inspiration
I live in a small town in Ohio, with my son, my oldest daughter, and my youngest grandson. My middle child, also a daughter, and her husband have five children, with the two youngest having just graduated. I'm incredibly proud of all of them. I also raised my oldest grandson, who made me a great-grandmother six years ago. His son just graduated from kindergarten, and now they are expecting a little girl in October. These rich family experiences, full of love and connection, often inspire the heartfelt moments in my romance novels.
The spark that ignited my passion
I've always possessed a vivid imagination, for as long as I can remember. My love for reading has continuously fueled this inner world, helping my own imagination grow and evolve. This deep-seated passion for stories, both reading them and creating them, is what ultimately led me to become a romance author. It’s a journey that feels both natural and destined.
Beyond the written word: My creative outlets
When I'm not immersed in writing, my creativity finds expression in other forms. I love to crochet and sew quilts, crafting tangible items with care and precision. I also enjoy making unique wedding bouquets using silk flowers and feathers, adding a personal touch to special occasions. And for a change of scenery and fresh inspiration, I love traveling to new places, always gathering ideas for my next story.
