Teasers of the day!

Teaser from WIP 9/11/26

“I never lose control, David.”

“Oh, but I think you will, and I want to be the one to make you do it.” He reached over and caressed her leg. She looked down at his hand and then grabbed it in a firm grip and moved it back to his leg.

“And how many times do I have to tell you I’m not into men, especially not you.”

“I plan to change your mind about that as well. Don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t be opposed to being between two sexy women, and believe me, I’m man enough to satisfy both of you. So if you have a girlfriend, feel free to bring her along.”

Here is another teaser from my WIP. 9/8/26

From what Sebastian could see, the stranger’s skin was deeply tanned from the sun and flawless. His long coal-black hair was pulled back in a ponytail. His face was chiseled and so handsome. It was almost breathtaking. His brown eyes were so deep and secretive. His full pink lips looked soft and very kissable. He looked and smelled like temptation itself. Sebastian had seen the man in here before, many times, but they’d never spoken or been this close to one another.

“Was there a problem with your meal or your service this evening?” Sebastian questioned.

“No.” The stranger shook his head. “Everything was to my satisfaction. It always is when I dine here.”

“Was there something else I could do for you?” Sebastian certainly hoped there was something he could do for this sexy as hell stranger.

“Have you ever been with a Dom before?” the stranger asked point blank, and Sebastian wondered how the stranger even knew he was bisexual.

“No,” Sebastian stated with a slight chuckle. “Do I strike you as a man who wants to be told what to do and when to do it?”

Monday teaser from WIP. 9/7/26

“Will I still get my goodnight kisses at the door?” she asked shyly.

Damn, he wanted to take her in his arms and kiss her senseless, and they had only been talking about computers. It was going to be hard to live with her without being able to touch her. Could he merely kiss her and watch her go into a bedroom and not want to follow her?

“I don’t know if it would be proper anymore since I am going to be your boss. I’d hate for you to sue me over sexual harassment.” He laughed.

“I would never do that, David.” She was shaking her head. “As a matter of fact, I would like for you to kiss me now, if you don’t mind?”

David searched her eyes for a moment, and she looked sincere. God, could he just kiss her and stop tonight? She looked gorgeous in the green silk dress he’d bought for her tonight along with the satin green heels; they matched her eyes and looked great with that red hair. He wanted to pick her up and carry her to his bed and never let her out of it. This was going to be the hardest and toughest thing he’d ever done, keeping his hands off the maid. It was funny; maybe that’s why he always hired older women to clean his places before.

A small teaser from my WIP (un-edited) 9/4/26

The feel of that silk against her skin the night of his family dinner party was so crazy. It felt like tiny little hands caressing her body. She actually wanted his hands and mouth on her the entire night, but merely let him kiss her goodnight at the door. When his lips were on hers it was so gentle, and she could taste the bourbon he’d had after dinner. She didn’t much care for the taste of it but she loved his mouth on hers, his tongue seeking entrance just before she opened her lips to him. God he was like a dream come true.

She didn’t know why she’d ever imagined herself marrying David one day. She knew what kind of man he was. He’d even admitted to being a player, but she’d let him get to her anyway. What a fairytale it had been, and now all her hopes felt dashed. Maybe he really did just want to be her friend. Why would he buy her those heals and that slinky dress and make her wear it with nothing under it if that’s all he wanted to be?

To Black Thunder, it meant her betrayal. She had betrayed his trust with her lies, she knew that now. Was it too late to make everything right between them? She couldn’t stand the thought of losing him now over a foolish lie. She should have confessed everything, but she had been too afraid he’d send her back home. Back to an unwanted marriage to a man she didn’t even know.

“I’m so sorry I lied to you. I was just afraid and didn’t know what else to say. I couldn’t go back home and then I fell in love with you. I just…I didn’t come about anything or anyone other than you. To me, my father was dead. He died the day he ordered me to marry a man I didn’t know. I need for you to try to understand what I was going through. Please tell me that you didn’t tell him where I was.” She reached out and laid her hand on his arm. “Please tell me you didn’t tell him, Black Thunder.”

“No I didn’t tell him.” Black Thunder shook his head. “I brought him back with me. He’s waiting outside for you. He has every right to see his daughter. He was worried about you, Satin. He feared you were dead. How could I not let him know where you were?”

Satin fell to her knees, her world falling apart over an innocent lie. She wrapped her arms around Black Thunder’s legs, begging him to send her father away. “Don’t let him take me away. I love you. Tell him you’re my husband and then he can’t make me go.”

“You. Lied. To. Me.” He spoke each word slowly, looking down at her. “You said you didn’t have any family. If your father takes you back home, there’s nothing I can do about it now. Our marriage means nothing here. You already knew that.”

“I don’t want to go back. I only want to be with you here—forever.” She knew that if her father took her back, she’d never get to see Black Thunder again.

“Get up, woman, and stop begging, there is nothing I can do. Go to your father. He needs to see that you’re all right. It will be up to your father whether you get to stay or not.” He peeled her arms off his legs and pulled her to her feet. “I love you too, Satin, and had I known the truth, maybe things could be different right now. I have no rights as your husband here.”

“You know as well as I do, if I go out there my father won’t let me walk back in here. I’ll lose you. I’m not prepared to live my life without you too, Black Thunder. I’m not strong enough to lose you too.” Her voice was little more than a whisper that she had to force out through the tears and tightness of her throat. She needed him to help her through losing their child, and now she was losing him as well. She knew her father would never let her remain here with an Indian. She wanted to pull him to her. She wanted to kiss him good-bye at the least, but somehow she knew better than to touch him. She knew it would be harder to walk out the door and away from the only man who would always have her heart. The only man she would ever consider her husband.

Satin turned from him and made her way to the door. She opened it and stepped through, barely seeing her father through the tears streaming down her face. She never believed she could hate her father or wish that he truly was dead, but right now, knowing he would take her away from Black Thunder and the only true happiness she’d ever felt, that was exactly how she felt.

“Satin, baby, are you all right?” Simon asked, stepping toward her.

“No, Father, I’m not all right.” She stepped out of his reach. “Why are you here?” she demanded to know. Her father looked a little taken aback at her tone. He looked as if she’d slapped him.

“I’ve been searching everywhere for you, darling. I didn’t know what had become of you. I was worried for your safety when I found you gone.”

“You can see that I am perfectly fine. I don’t want to return home with you, if that’s why you’re here. I want to stay here with my husband, Black Thunder.”

“You can’t be married to him! What has that savage done to you?” Simon demanded to know as he motioned toward the cabin. “You’re a white woman, Satin. You can’t be married to a savage. If anyone should even find out you were out here alone with a savage, pretending to be married to him—you’d be ruined. This is over and you are coming home with me now!”

Today's Teaser is from 'His Grace's Payment' 9/2/26

“You ask a lot of questions young lady.” He laughed out loud as he sat back in his chair. “I love your innocence, Miss Thurlow, but in truth, it also terrifies the hell out of me.” He shook his head slightly. “I have avoided virgins for as long as I can remember, and now look at me, living with one that I find I can’t avoid even if I wanted to. I believe your father sent you here to me to punish me for winning, not to repay me what he owes.” He laughed again.

She sat there staring at him. How could this beautiful man want someone as plain and dull as she was? She wasn’t beautiful by any means. She certainly hadn’t been in fashion when she’d arrived, with her old, outgrown gowns and red hair. Every man wanted a woman like Lady Wadsworth with her large breasts, curvy body, blonde hair and blue eyes. She wasn’t built at all like that woman, not to mention her eyes were some sort of grass-green. What could she do to ensure that he wanted her?

“I think you should finish your meal and retire to your room for the night, sweetheart. We can speak tomorrow about the other things.”

“I’m not tired. I had a long nap earlier.” Had he just called her sweetheart? She blushed a little more, her face burning. How far could she go to get him to forget about those rules? Could she change his mind about marriage? Did she want to be married to him?

Tuesday's teaser is from 'The Outlaw's Lady' 9/1/26

Royce watched as the changes crossed her beautiful features. At first she seemed frightened just by seeing him hard and ready for her, and then curiosity took over as if she’d wondered what it felt like when he’d taken himself into his hand. He had the feeling that she wanted to touch him but wasn’t sure how to go about it. Reaching out, he took her hand, holding it against him. The awe on her face was almost his undoing, and her soft hand around him was better than anything he’d ever felt before.

“You’re so beautiful,” he said as he watched her. He could smell her arousal as a frown and blush came over her face. He wanted to reassure her that what she was feeling was normal, and God, he wanted so badly to touch her. He didn’t want to rush or frighten her any more than she already was.

He could almost feel himself thrusting into her body, knowing she’d never been with any other man but him. She’d be tighter than anything he’d ever felt before, but he needed her wet and ready for him before he tried to take her. His size was more than enough for most women, but a virgin? He was afraid he’d hurt her more than please her. She would be perfect once she was able to accommodate his length and width, but until then, he’d have to be gentle with her tiny frame and not force her to accept all of him right away.

“I want you so badly, but we can’t do anything until your leg heals. I could still ease that ache you’re feeling though, if you’ll let me,” he offered.

When she shook her head in confusion, he knew she didn’t understand how he could ease her ache. She looked back down at his erection, her hand still wrapped around it as far as she could reach. He hoped she was considering a way she could ease his. He didn’t want her to worry about his ache, though. He could take care of that problem himself.

“Couldn’t we find a way to work around my leg? I mean, if we’re careful.” Her voice sounded unsure.

Monday's teaser is from my WIP (unedited) 8/31/26

“Big date?” Zoe asked as David stepped through the door of his hotel suite. The day might not have gone as planned but it wasn’t a waste altogether.

“No, actually I had a meeting with my manager. He has a job for me but it’s going to cut into my school work and I was just trying to figure out how to do both. What are you doing here, Zoe, not that I’m complaining? I’m always happy to see you in my suite.” He looked her up and down. She looked sexy as hell in her skin tight jeans and little T-shirt. She was wearing black heels on her tiny feet, her toe nails were bright red. The color looked good against her pale skin. She was just adorable and he wanted to pick her up and carry her to the bedroom and strip her out of all of it, but he knew he wasn’t allowed to touch her unless she asked. God, please let her ask. He prayed to himself.

“Did you get it figured out?” she smiled showing him a glimpse of her pearly whites and a little dimple he hadn’t noticed before.

He felt himself growing hard just watching her lips move. He shouldn’t be affected but damn it he was. Damn this woman was going to drive him to drink tonight. Why was she pussyfooting around and not getting to why she was here?

“Yes, I think I’ve pretty much have it figured out. Now it’s your turn to answer me. Why are you here dressed in street clothes and how did you get into my room?”

“The room’s easy…I work here.” she shrugged her shoulder. “I saw your things were packed up when I cleaned your room today. Were you just going to leave without saying goodbye?”

“Hell no, and if I did check out that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t know where I live. I took you home the other night, Zoe, so I know where you live. I’d planned to surprise you with a dinner in my new home just as soon as it’s set up and all my things arrive from Paris, but since you’re already here why don’t we go to the new place together now?”

“You want me to go to your home with you…now?”

She looked as surprised as she sounded. Did she really have a hard time believing he’d invite her to come to his home? Had he done or said something to cause her to believe that he didn’t want to spend time with her? He didn’t know what the hell it was about this tiny woman, but the thought of her not being around was more than he cared to think about.

“I like the way you clean my rooms here and I know how much you really need the money. I was hoping maybe I could hire you to clean my home. I promise to pay more than the hotel pays you now and I will also give you extra money for anything I ask you to do that is not part of your job.”

“Like what? I’m still not having sex with you if that’s what you’re saying.” She was shaking her head.

“No, I was thinking more on the lines of cooking a dinner or two for me some nights when I have a late day and won’t feel like cooking when I make it home. Of course you could cook in the nude and I wouldn’t complain.” He teased with a chuckle and then laughed out loud when she picked up one of the sofa’s pillows and hit him with it.

“I should have known you had an ulterior motive.” She laughed too.

“I was just kidding about the last part, but if you’d like to make more money than you do here. I’d be more than happy to hire you.”

“I could always use more money to pay for school, but I don’t know about cleaning house for you. You’d probably make me wear one of those skimpy little maid uniforms.”

“The thought never crossed my mind. I figure you can wear anything you want to. I would want you to be comfortable.”

“You seriously want to hire me?”

“Well, you better go with me and look at the place before you decide you want to clean it. It’s not a small place, but I promise you will be well paid.”

“That big huh?”

“Yes it’s big.” He looked down his body causing Zoe’s eyes to roam there as well.

“You’re disgusting.” She hit him with the pillow again. “I was talking about the house.”

“Me too, where was your mind, Miss Fontane?”

“On your home and just how much it will cost you for me to clean it.”

“I’ll pick you up as soon as I get a bit of furniture in it and then you can let me know what you’d charge me to clean it.” He’d pay almost anything just to watch her clean his home. Damn it he needed to get past this woman, she was never going to let him touch her. She was a virgin and he knew she wanted to stay that way until she found the right man, but damn she was one hell of a tease waiting here in his hotel suite dressed like that.

“Sounds like a date.” She smiled.

“I’ll tell you what it can be a date if you’ll let me cook for you.”

“You can cook?” she looked a bit worried.

“Of course I can cook. I’ll make you the best damned Italian meal you’ve ever had. I guarantee your mouth will water.”

She stood and held out her hand. “Then it’s a date, Mr. Loring. I guess I won’t see you again until the day you come to pick me up. Here’s my number.” She grabbed his hand and took the pen of the desk and wrote her number on his hand just like a girl from school would do. “I’ll expect your food to be…” she let her eyes drift over his body one more. “Mouthwatering.”

Friday's teaser is from 'Tabby's Touch'

Tabby watched him walk away, not because she didn’t know how to look away. She watched him because she wanted him to know she hadn’t. He didn’t glace back. That was deliberate. She could tell. Ted Robey didn’t miss things by accident. He left like a man who knew exactly what he was doing and didn’t trust himself to do more. That alone told her everything.

She stayed where she was for a moment after he disappeared into the night, her pulse still uneven, her body tingling where he stood so near that he’d almost touch her. Almost. That was the word that kept echoing. Almost crossed a line her brother would’ve noticed if he’d been looking anywhere but Ted’s face. She’d felt it, the shift in him. The way the air had tightened when he stepped closer. The way his voice had dropped when he spoke to her like she wasn’t a kid anymore. Like he saw her. And he did. She knew and that was the dangerous part for him.

She’d surprised him. She could tell by the way his eyes lingered just a second too long, by the way his control had sharpened instead of relaxed. Men who weren’t tempted didn’t need that much restraint.

Brian talked beside her, she was oblivious, still half-wound up over nothing. She nodded at the right moments, smiled when expected, but her thoughts were already elsewhere, replaying the way Ted’s breath felt warm on her face and neck when he leaned in closer to speak to her. He hadn’t crossed the line Brian had drawn. But he’d stood right at the edge of it, and she’d felt the pull just as strongly as he had. That mattered because now she knew something he didn’t realize he’d shown her. Ted Robey wasn’t as untouchable as he liked to pretend, and next time she wouldn’t be the one standing still.

Tabby and Brian had driven back to his place where her car awaited in silence. At least in silence after the almost damning question, he’d asked her.

“Is there anything you and Ted need to tell me?”

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

'Midnight Moon' teaser 8/27/26

Satin opened her eyes to see Black Thunder sitting at her side. “Where are we?” she asked, her voice little more than a whisper.

At the doctor’s house in town,” he answered. “Why didn’t you tell me about the baby, Satin?”

“I was going to—the baby?” she questioned touching her small hand to her stomach.

Black Thunder shook his head. “I’m sorry, if I’d known…” he shook his head.

“It’s my fault. I should have told you,” she cried.

“The doctor says you can have more children as soon as you’re well enough.”

“Does that mean you’re not mad at me, and you want to have children with me?”

He stood, turning his back to her for the moment. “I never thought about it before. I never thought I’d get married, let alone become a father. This is all so new and scary to me.”

“And now?” she questioned softly. “How do you feel about it now?”

“And now?” he turned, sitting down beside her on the bed and taking her hand in his. “With you—I want to be married. I want to be a father—I want everything with you by my side.” He took his thumb and wiped at the tears rolling down her face. “Why are you crying?”

“Because I love you and I want the same things, but only with you. I don’t want to be here in town. I want to be in our own home, where I’m your wife and you’re my husband. I want to leave here now.”

“Do you feel well enough to travel?”

“I feel a little weak, but I think I can make it if you’ll help me.”

“I have to speak with the doctor first. I’ll be right back.” Black Thunder became Drake Peterson once more as he stepped through the front room where the doctor was waiting. Taking money out of his saddle bag, he paid for the doctor’s services. “Doctor, my wife wishes to go home. Will it be safe enough to take her home with me?”

“She can’t ride a horse,” the doctor said, looking at Drake as if he’d lost him mind.

“I’ll hold her. She can lie in my lap. She wants to go home and I want to take her there.”

“Very well, it’s up to the two of you. Here’s some laudanum Mrs. Peterson will need for a few days. If you’ll tell me where you live, I can get out there to check on her in a few days.”

“I’m afraid you wouldn’t be able to find it, doc, it’s way up in the mountains and your buggy wouldn’t make it up there. It’s really just a hunting cabin—it’s fine for us right now, but as soon as my wife’s well enough to travel again, we’ll be heading to my home in Cut Bank where my grandfather lives. I want my new wife to live in comfort and luxury if she’s going to have more children, not out in the wilderness.”

“I understand. May I ask you a question?” the doctor waited until Drake nodded his head in agreement. “Is your grandfather Austin Peterson?”

“Yes. My wife doesn’t know anything about him, and I’d rather she didn’t until I get a chance to tell her.”

“She won’t hear a thing from me. I never heard a thing about his grandson getting married though. I was sure he’d announce that to the whole world.”

“I’m afraid my grandfather doesn’t know yet. He wanted to marry me off to some spoiled rich girl that I didn’t even know, but I wanted love. I just hope he’ll understand and welcome my new wife into our home.”

“What about your wife’s family, how do you think they’ll feel to know their daughter is married to the grandson of the wealthiest man in Cut Bank?”

“Satin told me that she doesn’t have any family left alive.”

“That’s too bad. I’m sure they’d be very proud of her choice in husband.”

“I’m not so sure, but I intend on doing my best to always take care of her and love her.”

“I’m sure you’ll do just fine, son. I can see how much you love her just by the look in your eyes and the look that was on your face when you raced in here with her in your arms.”

“Well, I’m going to take my wife home now.” He held out his hand to the doctor. “Thank you for everything you did for her.” The doctor shook his hand with a smile.

“It was my pleasure. If you need anything, or if she starts to run a fever, you know where to find me, Mr. Peterson.”

“Call me Drake, my grandfather is Mr. Peterson.” With that he turned to go get his beautiful wife. Wrapping her in one of the blankets his grandmother Crying Dove had made for them, he carried her outside, letting the doctor hand her up to him once he was astride his stallion.

He took his time climbing the mountains as he held Satin tightly in his arms. Once they reached the cabin, he put Satin in bed and made her stay there while he took care of everything. He chopped wood, hunted, and fished, trying to get them prepared for winter. He had a feeling it was going to be a long, cold one before they got to head toward Cut Bank and his grandfather’s home.

Drake just prayed his grandfather understood when they went to him come spring. Satin wouldn’t only be Black Thunder’s wife, she’d also be Drake Peterson’s. She would belong to him in every world, in every name. No one would be able to take her from him then.

'The Trade' is today's teaser 8/26/26

“I can’t believe you were thinking of your sister while sucking my cock.” Lucas hugged her close to him. His chin rested on top of her head. “Don’t worry, Piper, I’ll get her back for you.”

“I believe you. I just want everyone back in one piece.” She cried against his chest.

“You have to trust me and do what I say this time. You will stay on the plane and wait for us to return.” He held her back and looked down into her teary eyes. Did she really care if he came back safely, or was she just saying that to make him want to get her sister back in one piece?

“But I…”

“There are no buts here. You will stay on this plane and wait for us.” He tried to sound stern with her, hoping she’d listen, but he didn’t trust that she would. He’d talk to Jason and tell him how long to wait for them. If they didn’t return by a certain time, then Jason would leave and take Piper back to America with him. He didn’t care if Jason had to tie her down. Jason knew to take off if gunfire erupted too close. He knew from experience not to take any chances. He also knew Lucas and the other men could survive it they were left behind.

Lucas led her out of the bedroom by the hand, sat her down in the seat across from his, and fastened her in. She looked a little green, and he worried that she’d be sick, and then wondered if she’d ever been on a plane before.

“Are you all right, Miss Sutton?” He watched her swallow hard before she answered him.

“Yes, I will be just fine, Mr. Grant.” She nodded her head slightly, and pressed her hand to her stomach.

She didn’t look like she’d be all right, so he handed her one of the barf bags that was on the plane.

“Here, just in case you need it.” She tried to push it away at first, but Lucas demanded she take it. He knew she was just trying to be brave in front of him and his men.

“Thank you,” she mumbled before holding it to her mouth.

He smiled. Even being sick she was the prettiest thing he’d ever seen. She was so tiny and adorable dressed in all black. He couldn’t believe she’d actually think he’d let her go with them. She’d probably faint at the first sight of blood. He feared she was becoming more to him than just another client. He would have to get that thought out of his head. He wanted to protect her at all cost, which would be dangerous for him. Moreover, she was the only client he’d ever traded with for sex, but when he looked at her that first day he couldn’t resist helping her. In return, help him to her body. He just hoped he’d be able to let her go once she’d paid her due. He feared he’d want her for a longer period of time, and if so maybe they could work something out. He knew their relationship would only be sex, because he couldn’t work safely if she was in his life. He’d always be worried more about her than the job. He could be killed with her on his mind.

He could save her sister, and then get her out of his life, but he wasn’t willing to give her up until he’d at least bedded her. Once that happened, he’d send them both on their way and get back to his life. Yes, that was exactly what he was going to do. There was no way he could just have a sexual relationship with Piper. He was already becoming too attached to this small slip of a woman.

As soon as the plane landed, he and his men unfastened their belts and began to ready themselves for a fight. Lucas kissed Piper on top of the head.

“Go lay down on the bed. I will send your sister in there just as soon as we get back.”

“Okay, promise me that you’ll also be safe.”

He could see the tears forming in her gorgeous blue eyes. Tears were the one thing he couldn’t handle. He smiled at her as his thumbs wiped the tears away. He never was good with a woman’s tears, but hers made him want to hold her and never let go.

“I’m always safe.”

'Designs on the Carpet Layer' is the teaser of the day 8/25/26

Shyann made it as far as the end of the street before she realized she didn’t have her shoes or her purse. She cussed herself for being so stupid and then turned the car around to head back. Pulling back into his driveway, she sat in her car staring at his door. What the hell was she supposed to say? Sorry, I’m an idiot. In my desperate haste to get away from your temptingly sexy body, I ran out of here like a scared rabbit and forgot my shoes and purse. She laid her head against her steering wheel, feeling like an idiot.

Shyann had to swallow past the lump in her throat. She didn’t know what to do when the door opened as she stepped up to it. Jesse was standing there in a pair of jeans, his wet hair still dripping down his chest and back. He was holding a cup of coffee in one hand and an aspirin in the other. Shyann shook her head, then took his offering as he held the door open for her. She stepped through the door and followed him to the kitchen table. She was terrified to look up at him, afraid of what her eyes would say to him.

“Aren’t you going to say anything?” she asked, quietly waiting for him to laugh at her stupidity.

“What do you want me to say, Shyann?” he asked in a soft voice.

“I forgot my shoes and purse.” She laughed a little at herself.

“I know.”

She sat there for a moment before getting her nerve up. He wasn’t going to make fun of her for running out like a scared little girl, she finally realized.

“I want you, Shyann, and I know you want me, so why don’t you just admit it and let’s get this entire thing over with.”

“Don’t do this to me, Jesse.”

“Do what to you, Shyann?”

His voice was like a soft caress over her aching body. She wanted him to take control and just pull her to him, leaving her little choice but to give in to him, but she knew he wouldn’t do that, not until she gave him permission.

“Don’t hug you…don’t touch you…don’t seduce you? Tell me what it is you do want me to do.”

“Don’t confuse me.” She looked up at him, feeling the tears in her eyes. “I don’t know what you want from me.”

“I need you so badly, woman, that I feel like I’m losing my damn mind. If you would only give me half the chance to show you what I want or how I feel…I promise you won’t be confused or disappointed.”

Shyann sat there looking at him. What was she supposed to say? Yeah, she wanted him, but she wanted more than sex from him. She wasn’t about to admit to that, though. He’d probably laugh at her, and she’d feel like a bigger idiot than she already did.

Jesse’s hands were big and strong enough to crush her, but tender as he reached across the table to gently caress her lips. She thought he was going to kiss her as she prepared herself, but she wasn’t ready for what he said.

“I can’t do this right now. I have to go to my sister’s place. I guess she called right after you left. Your shoes are in the bedroom, and your purse is still lying on the couch. When you decide to listen to what your mind and body is telling you, come back and I’ll be more than happy to give you what you want.”

Jesse slipped on his shoes and then pulled a shirt over his head. He was almost to the door before Shyann could believe that he was leaving her there alone.

“You’re just going to leave me sitting here in your home.”

“I trust you, beautiful.” He stepped back to the table, bent, and kissed her cheek. “Drink your coffee and let the aspirin take effect. Just lock the door on your way out or stay until I get back home if you want. Who knows, maybe by then you’ll know what you want.”

“Jesse,” she called out, wanting to tell him that she did want him, but couldn’t do it when he turned to look at her.

“Yeah, sweetheart?” he turned to look at her.

“I won’t be here,” she said instead.

“I know,” Jesse said with a nod of his head, and then he was gone.

'His Grace's Payment' Monday teaser 8/24/26

Bethany paced her room, unsure if she could repay His Grace, or any man, a debt owed with her body…Did she have it in her to be able to do such a thing?

Her hands trembled as badly as her knees did. She was not even sure she would be able to make it to his room, much less do anything else. And what if she’d injured him down there with that hot soup? Would he be able to…? She shook her head, not wanting to think about it.

“Oh, Father, how could you do this to me? Is this how you really intended for me to repay your debt to His Grace?”

Her heart was breaking. If only her mother would have lived. Her life would be so different now. Perhaps she would even be planning a wedding instead of a seduction.

She paced her room a little longer, her mind crowded with so many thoughts that her head was beginning to ache. She walked to the window, pulling the drapes back. It was beginning to grow dark out. Bedtime would soon be here. She knew she would have to make up her mind soon, or she would have to wait for another night.

It wasn’t something to go about lightly. If she went through with this, her life would be forever changed. She could never marry. No man would want a woman who traded her virtue for her father’s debt. She would be ruined. She would be destined to live the rest of her life alone…a spinster. She would have to go away, find a place where no one would know of her or her father.

She let the drapes fall back into place. Turning, she looked at her bed, then turned away from it as a shiver ran through her body. What would it be like to have His Grace hold and kiss her? Would his hair be as soft as it looked? Would it hurt to lose her virginity? What would he look like without his clothes? So many questions ran through her mind, and yet she was not sure if she wanted to know the answers to any of them.

When her father told her she had to come here and do whatever His Grace said, she had been afraid that His Grace would insist that she trade her virtue for her father’s debt. She didn’t know that she would be the one offering it. It wasn’t as if she wouldn’t want to give herself to a man like His Grace. What would it be like to be wrapped in those powerful arms of his, to have his mouth devouring hers?

But could she bring herself to initiate it? The man hadn’t asked anything of her. He hadn’t made any unwanted advances toward her. He had been nothing but a gentleman toward her since she had arrived.

'Borrowed Angel' teaser of the day 8/21/26

“You look so beautiful,” Adam whispered in her ear before nuzzling the side of her neck. “I can’t wait to have those beautiful breasts in my mouth, against my tongue again.”

Adam caressed her back and buttocks and then one of her breasts, twisting the nipple between his thumb and forefinger as he pressed his hard cock into the back of her, causing her to moan out loud. His other hand slid over her damp panties to lightly touch her clit. She feared she’d come apart at the seams, it had been too long since she’d felt this kind of touch. Even as her mind screamed that this was all wrong, her body craved it.

Angel closed her eyes as he turned them around. She heard him sit on the bed just before he turned her in his arms. He ran his hot tongue over her areola, her nipple peaked hard reaching for the loving warmth of his tongue. Adam sucked it into his mouth. She kept her eyes closed enjoying Trevor’s hot mouth on her as she tried to imagine Adam. It had been too long—almost a year now since the wreck had taken Adam. It was hard for her to comprehend that he was here in his brother’s body.

“Oh, Adam,” she sighed and felt him pause in his touch. She wondered if Trevor was still in there somewhere and hearing her call him Adam bothered him. After all it was Trevor’s body bringing her so much pleasure. She stood straight and stiff as he moved his hands to the elastic of her panties. Hooking his thumbs in, he slowly lowered them as he got on his knees behind her. He urged her to lift one leg and then the other to remove them completely. He surprised her and she let out a shriek when he bit one of her ass cheeks just before he ran his hot tongue over it to soothe the pain away.

teaser 8/20/26 is from 'The Outlaw's Lady'

The man behind her called out in his rough yet smooth-as-silk voice to someone named Seth. Cora watched, full of apprehension, as a handsome man came walking out of the front door, headed right toward them, followed by three other men. She stared at the door, waiting for a woman to emerge, but when none came, she turned her attention back to the men. The last man that came out the door seemed to be the shortest among them, yet he had a stocky build. Royce pointed to each man and said their names. Lee was menacing looking dressed in all that black, and even though he had his hair pulled back and tied at the nape of his neck, it was still long and as black as the clothes he wore. His skin was a little darker than the rest of the men, and she thought that he might be part Mexican. She felt frightened as he turned his face up to look at her. His face was covered with the same black hair, and it was long enough that it reached the middle of his chest. A mustache covered his upper lip, so the only thing that was really visible was his eyes—eyes that seemed almost as black as the rest of him. She shivered as she stared at him in spite of herself, but was glad that it hadn’t been him that had yanked her from her horse. He seemed to be a cold, hard man. It would be hard to like him even on a good day.

Next to him stood a tall, slim man with short black hair named Jericho. He also had a mustache the same black color, but his eyes looked brown from where she sat. His beard wasn’t as long as Lee’s, but his mustache had also grown into it. There was a younger man next to him, Kris, who was also tall and slim, but he was a lot more handsome than the last two. His hair was long and dark brown, which he kept tied behind his head. He had a neatly trimmed beard and mustache the same color as his hair, and his eyes looked bluish green.

The one named Seth was standing next to the black stallion, looking up at them. His hair was blondish-brown and hung to his shoulders. His face was clean-shaven and looked baby smooth. His eyes reminded her of warm, melted chocolate. He was very handsome, and next to the man who was still holding on to her, he was built the stoutest. For some reason, she felt safe as she looked into his chocolate eyes and baby face.

“So where did you find this little treasure? I don’t remember seeing anything like her on my way home,” Seth said as he reached up, taking her into his arms as the strange outlaw handed her off to him.

“Watch her leg, and just don’t you worry about where I found her. Now give her back to me before you break her any worse than I already did,” he demanded, reaching out for her.

Cora looked from one man to the other as she was handed back, and then carried into the house by the man whose body had tortured her all the way here. Looking around, she saw that it was beautifully furnished and wondered if they had killed the owners and just taken the house over for themselves.

“You have a very beautiful home, for an outlaw,” she said, without thinking that she was giving herself away.

Did he already expect her of being the one watching them earlier and now knew she had been? Was that why he smiled down at her a little strangely?

“Thank you, I do try to keep it that way. But do tell me something, ma’am. What makes you think I’m an outlaw?”

Cora wasn’t aware that she’d slipped up until after he spoke. She shrugged her shoulders and tried to pretend not to understand what he was talking about. “I just assumed by the way you attacked me when I was riding along and the way you are all dressed. You certainly don’t look like a farmer,” she answered as he carried her up the stairs. She listened to the sound his spurs made as he climbed each step. Then he walked down a hall and into a room, laying her on the biggest and most comfortable bed she’d ever lain on. She almost sighed with the comfort of the mattress beneath her and the relief of finally being on something so soft.

Once he had her lying on the bed safe and sound, he grabbed the leg of the old work pants she was wearing and ripped them to her thigh.

“What do you think you’re doing?” she demanded in a rush, trying to sit up as he exposed her leg.

“Be still. I’m trying to examine your leg to see how bad you’re hurt.” His voice was deep and demanding as he spoke, and he sounded like a man who always got his way. “Lie still, sweetheart, and I’ll be back in a minute with something to fix your leg up.” He turned to head out of the door, only to stop when she spoke.

“I am not your sweetheart,” she sneered over his back.

He merely laughed, then turned back around and disappeared through the door. When he returned a few moments later, he was carrying a bottle of whiskey in one hand and some kind of bandage in the other. He uncorked the bottle with his teeth and held it out to her.

“I suggest you take a drink. You’ll need it, ’cause it’s gonna burn once I pour it on your leg. Take a small sip at first, though. It’s also gonna burn going down your throat.”

“Don’t be silly. I can’t drink that stuff. I have never taken a drink of anything like that in my life, and I don’t plan to start now.”

He laughed as he looked down at her. “It’s only one drink. I’m sure you’ll be just fine. It’s not like I’m trying to get you drunk or somethin’, sweetheart,” he said with another laugh. She knew it had to be because of the look on her face. She was frowning because he’d called her “sweetheart” again. He had to know she didn’t like him calling her by the endearment, and that was probably why he was insisting on doing it.

He hadn’t lied to her about the whiskey burning her throat on the way down. It felt like liquid fire all the way to her toes, not to mention that it took her breath away and made her body shake.

The outlaw took the bottle out of her hand as he shook his head. “I said a small sip first.” Lifting her leg, he held it over some rags, then poured the whiskey over it. He winced when a scream escaped her lips. She didn’t believe he had intended to hurt her any more than he already had, but there was no getting past it. Maybe she wouldn’t get a fever in her leg if he got it cleaned and dressed properly.

“Sorry, but I did tell you it would burn,” he said as he recorked the bottle and set it on the table next to the bed. He began wrapping the bandage around her leg as tight as he could without hurting her, but tight enough to stop the bleeding.

“Why are you trying to be so nice to me when you go around killing people and stealing their things? You don’t even know who I am or why I was out there.” She looked up to see that he was looking at her with that strange look again.

“I don’t steal or go around just killing people, only the ones that try to kill me first, sweetheart.”

teaser of the day. 8/19/26 is from 'One True Love"

"I met with Father this morning while you were sleeping. I let him know that I didn't approve of the trick he pulled. We're going home today."

"No, Matty," she pleaded, reaching up to pull his face around to look at her. "Let's stay here like this for the rest of the week, then we can go back home."

"No, Virginia. We're leaving within the hour. I need to start making plans to travel back to America, and we both have some packing to do. We need to get up and ready. James will be here soon," he said, moving off the bed and away from her before he blurted out that he loved her and made a fool of himself.

"I just thought after what we just shared that you had changed your mind about us staying here, but if you're ready to go home and get prepared to leave for America, that will be fine with me."

He walked to the water basin and began to clean himself. He rinsed the cloth and went to her, washing her as well. He liked that she turned pink as he bathed her.

"I almost changed my mind when I saw you there naked this morning," he said when he was finished, and then he turned and picked up his clothes, getting dressed again. He tossed a dress to her, then sat down in the chair by the fireplace to watch her dress.

"I also needed to see how we were together when I was sober because when I'm drunk I'm afraid I can get the same pleasure from any woman I choose."

"Try it, and I shall claw their eyes out, and maybe yours while I'm at it," she yelled in his direction.

He laughed, picturing her trying to do just that. He knew he wouldn't have a problem with controlling Virginia if she came after him, but the poor woman would be in trouble. He'd taught her to defend herself pretty well.

"Laugh all you want, but you just try it and see what I do to you!" she threatened. "I'm your wife now, and if you don't sleep with me, you won't sleep with anyone."

"Don't threaten me, sweetheart. It doesn't become you. What you don't understand is, now that I'm your husband, you have to do exactly what I say and when I say it."

"I wouldn't place my wager on that if I were you," she sneered beneath her breath.

Monday's teaser is another from my WIP 8/17/26

“Happy birthday, sweetness.” A soft voice sounded behind him, interrupting his wayward thoughts.

Travis looked to his left. The voice sounded so familiar, but he knew it couldn’t possibly belong to his favorite sub. David had been gone for the last five years. He’d become a model and moved to Paris. Travis had missed him dearly when he’d first left. He had hated to see David go, but he wasn’t about to hold him back. He wanted David to be his own man, and now he was.

“David.” Travis arched a dark brow as he turned.

David was as beautiful as ever. His angelic face was perfection. His soft brown hair was fixed in the latest style with highlights, just a hint lighter than his hair running through it, and those aqua, sea-blue eyes of his stood out on that perfectly tanned face. His body was magnificent in his designer clothes. His white shirt was rolled to the elbows and half-unbuttoned to show his satiny, tanned chest. There was a broad smile on his soft, moist pink lips.

“Well, I thought I’d show up and give you what you really want for your birthday, and we both know it’s not this cake.” David held the cake out before him.

“Damn, man. I thought you were in Paris.” Travis smiled, thinking his birthday might actually turn out better than he ever thought it could. Travis watched as David handed the cake off to someone else, then he pulled him into a tight embrace.

“I was, baby, but I couldn’t let another one of your birthdays pass without me.” David smiled, flashing those perfect white teeth. “It’s the first birthday that I have free. I didn’t want to miss the big three-oh.” He chuckled.

“I’m glad you didn’t. Hell, it feels like it’s been a lifetime.” Travis leaned back enough to look at the man. “Damn, you look sexy as hell. Have you been working out?”

“Of course. I am a model, you know.” David laughed.

“I’m happy that you got your dream to come true.”

“Did you miss me?” David teased.

“My best friend, the only person who truly knows me—of course, I didn’t miss you,” Travis teased with a chuckle.

“So, tell me which one of these lucky people is your current sub?” David asked, looking around the room.

“The sexy blonde over in the corner, standing by herself.” Travis nodded his head in Georgia’s direction.

“Pretty.” David smiled.

New WIP teaser. 8/12/26

He longed to live in a nice home in the country. It wasn’t like he didn’t love his penthouse because he did, but what he wanted was a real home with a yard. It would be nice to look out and watch his children playing, and it didn’t matter whether they were really his or adopted. He just wanted someone with whom he could spend the rest of his life. Someone to sit with on the back porch and grow old together as they watched said children grow up and they watch their grandchildren play in that same yard.

This penthouse had been a perfect place to bring subs to. There was no way he’d bring someone here he really cared about. His current relationship was with a woman, but she wasn’t a woman he could see spending the rest of his life with.

He watched Georgia as she stood in the corner, her head slightly bowed. She wasn’t talking to or looking at anyone. Of course, he hadn’t introduced her to any of his neighbors or so-called friends, and she was extremely obedient, sometimes too obedient for his liking. He demanded obedience but he still wanted his subs to have a life of their own as well.

Everyone needed something to strive for. Georgia was more like a puppy dog. She never did anything unless she was told or demanded to. She was a sweet and beautiful woman, she kept his penthouse spotless, and his favorite foods fixed for dinner. But he could never see himself on that porch with her.

WIP teaser 8/10/26

“Hello, Charlotte.” David was surprised to see her in the hotel lounge again. She was sitting alone at the bar having a drink.

“You again…what can I do to get rid of you?” She was very sarcastic.

“Sleep with me.” he couldn’t help but throw it out there. What could she do but turn him down?

Charlotte laughed out loud, then turned to look at him as he sat down in the stool next to her.

“That is never going to happen.”

“Do you always have to be in control of everything in your life? Can’t you ever just let go?”

“Yes, David, I do. I’m surprised that you took my advice and stayed away from Elyse. My father is happy that she’s staying home longer now and not on the phone with you. She gave him the same story that you did me, which, by the way, I still don’t believe.”

“I didn’t take your advice. I just don’t need her help any longer. I’ve found my birth parents. Turns out that my mother is a real bitch and I’m lucky that she gave me away. She never even told my father that she was pregnant, so he knew nothing about me.”

“So I’m guessing they aren’t overjoyed to see you after all these years. What was the point in trying to find them?”

“On the contrary, my birth father was delighted to find out he had a son. I also learned that I have a younger brother and sister. I just had dinner with the entire family tonight.”

“What about that bitchy birth mother?”

“She wasn’t too happy to see me. Actually, the woman was a real bitch who doesn’t deserve to be in my life, much less anyone else’s. It’s a shame for the stepkid she has, and I really feel sorry for her husband. I couldn’t imagine being married to a woman like her.”

“Sorry.” She actually sounded like she was sincere.

“Why would you be sorry? You don’t even like me?”

“I was trying my hand at being nice.” Her voice was dripping with sarcasm. “Why the hell are you always at this hotel?” She took a drink and then turned back to look at him again.

“I have a suite here. Would you like to go up and see it?” he offered.

“No, now that you’ve found your birth parents, are you going to be moving on?”

“No, as a matter of fact, I just bought a home here, and I’m also going to college. So I guess I’ll be around here for a long time to come.”

“Lord, help us all.” She rolled her eyes and then looked up at the ceiling.

He chuckled and then ordered bourbon on the rocks for himself and another drink for Charlotte when the bartender stopped in front of him.

“You sound as if that’s a bad thing.”

“It would be a great thing if you actually took Elyse from my dad’s life.”

“Now that’s something that is never going to happen.”

Teaser of the day is from 'His Grace's Payment' (8/5/26)

“You said that I could not be a servant, because I was clumsy.” Her voice shook with fright. His body was warm against her chilled skin. She couldn’t think straight, being against him this way. His breath smelled of brandy. Would he be as cruel as her father when he drank?

“So you thought to repay your father’s debt by becoming my mistress.” She could hear the merriment in his voice. Was he laughing at her? Did he think she was too simple or ugly to sleep with?

“I…” Her voice shook when she tried to speak. She’d almost forgotten why she’d come to him.

“Have you ever even been kissed by a man before, Miss Thurlow?” His voice was quiet and husky.

“No,” she whispered, her breath coming quicker, her body feeling strange and tingly. She ran her tongue over her dry lips in anticipation. Her body relaxed a little with his soft moan, and then he pulled her lips to his.

Having never been kissed before, she wasn’t sure what to do as his soft, warm lips moved slowly over hers. She could taste the liquor on his lips.

“Open your mouth for me, Bethany,” he said in a breath against her lips.

She did as he said, and was surprised when his tongue darted into her mouth and began to move over her tongue and around inside her mouth, tasting her. Wait, he’d called her Bethany, not Miss Thurlow. Did that mean that he was glad she was here tonight?

She moaned softly and began to caress his side and chest once more, feeling a bit daring. His flesh felt warm and firm under her fingertips. He moved so quickly, she didn’t know what had happened until she was lying on her back with Clayton’s body over hers. She sank further into the feather mattress, something hard and hot pressing into her legs.

“Is this what you wanted when you came to my room, Miss Thurlow?” His voice was hard and demanding. The weight of his body pressed hers into the mattress.

“I’m not completely sure.” She had been startled by his movement, and then his question. She didn’t know what she wanted any longer. Was this how it was supposed to be? She wanted him, even though she knew what she was doing was wrong. She knew what she would be giving up, but still, she couldn’t deny what he made her feel. It didn’t stop her from being frightened, though. His Grace was a lot stronger than she was, and a lot bigger.

Bethany closed her eyes and ran her tongue over her lips. She wanted him to kiss her again. She hadn’t been afraid when he’d been kissing her. She’d felt all warm and tingly at the core of her being. It had felt so right to have his lips on hers, his tongue invading her mouth. She wanted more.

She tilted her head back for him to kiss her again. He placed one of his legs between hers and forced hers apart, and then he moved over her body until his manhood was pressed against her. Her fear kicked in, and she screamed out, her eyes flying open. She couldn’t stop herself from crying when he pressed into her.

“No, wait.” Bethany panicked with the slight pressure he was causing.

“Changing your mind so soon?” he asked quietly.

Trevor heard the water start in the shower. An image of Angel naked under the spray of hot water had his mouth watering, dreaming of the feel and taste of her on his tongue. He was almost sure he could smell her desire when she’d been sitting across from him. He wanted to get in that shower with her and make love to her until the only man she thought of was him. He stood, went to the doorway, and then turned and went back to his seat. He gripped the table when he heard the shower door close. What the hell was wrong with him? He hadn’t been this nervous when he’d been a teenager trying to get his first piece of ass. Angel was turning his world upside down, and he didn’t know why, or what to do about it.

He remained seated this time because he was sure she’d never want a man as rough and hard as he was, not to mention his scarred-up body from the bullets of war. No, Angel deserved a man with gentle hands and a loving heart. He’d do his best not to think of her as a lover and to let her be, but there was still this nagging at the back of his mind that wouldn’t let the thought of being with her go. He needed to remember she was his brother's widow.

Today's Teaser is from 'Midnight Moon'

“Do you intend to rape and kill me?” she asked softly.

It was the first time he’d heard her voice. It was as beautiful as she was. He felt it was his turn to look her over. She looked so young and innocent just like flowers blooming in the spring, and she was just as beautiful as they were. He realized he’d been right about her hair color and it was even lovelier up close. But what surprised him was that she didn’t seem the least bit scared of him or his nudeness. It wasn’t the reaction that he expected at all, and he thought that she would cower in a corner and demand that he put something on. He was a little confused about the question she’d asked though, until he realized he hadn’t laid the knife he’d used to skin and clean the squirrels on the table with everything else.

“I don’t have anything—oh what’s the use. You probably don’t understand anything I’m saying anyway,” she said, turning to look at him once more.

Drake felt furious with the fact that she thought him a savage that would rape and kill an innocent woman. Otherwise he would have laughed at his stupidity for forgetting the knife in his hand. But when he had stepped through the door and seen so much of her uncovered, he couldn’t help but make his way to the bed to look at her. Maybe he should play along with it and give her a little scare. After all, she shouldn’t have been out in the mountains all alone in the first place. He could tell just by looking at her that she was pampered and proper. Yes, maybe a little scare was exactly what she needed or deserved.

He looked down at the knife as he stepped closer to the bed. The young woman got out of the bed, pulling the blanket around her, and then began to search the cabin with her eyes. He presumed she was looking for some sort of weapon to use in her defense. She looked like a rabbit caught in a snare, not knowing which way to turn. She turned and stared at him across the bed. He guessed she realized there was nothing there to use as a weapon.

“Please don’t hurt me. If this is your home, I’ll leave—just give let me get dressed,” she begged.

Drake looked around the cabin, wondering if he should keep up the masquerade or if he should let her know that he understood everything she was saying and had no intentions on harming one beautiful strand of hair on her head. He looked back at her when she spoke again, breaking his concentration.

“I’m sorry, but I didn’t touch anything other than the bed.”

Drake stepped around the bed and walked toward her. He was surprised once again when she didn’t try to run, she only backed slowly against the wall. He reached out and grabbed her by the arm, pulling her up against his wet, naked flesh, closing his eyes as he inhaled the scent of lilacs. It almost overwhelmed him. He brought his other hand up, the knife forgotten once again, or at least until he heard her scream.

“Please make it quick. I really hate pain,” she cried out.

Drake opened his eyes. He knew he was taking this too far when he saw the tears form in her eyes and roll down her smooth creamy cheeks and felt her trembling against him. But for some reason he couldn’t resist the urge to touch her, keeping the knife held against her, he let his other hand caress up the side of her leg, over her hip, up her waist, stopping just below her breast.

He realized she’d been holding her breath when it came out in a rush as he stopped. He wondered if she was about to faint, but she stood there like a stone as he moved his hand up to move her hair behind her ear and then leaned in to whisper perfect English in her ear.

“Pray tell me, woman, who said I was going to do anything to harm you in the first place?” He turned her hair loose then walked to the stove and removed the kettle to pour a cup of coffee, after laying the knife on the table. “Besides, if I wanted to rape and kill you don’t you think I would have done it while you were asleep last night? I trust you slept well in my bed.”

“Your bed—

Today's teaser is from 'Designs on the Carpet Layer' my third book.

Shyann stepped through the front door of the new Prescott mansion Monday morning in a wonderful mood. That was until she stepped around the corner and stopped dead in her tracks when she spotted Jesse Hartley on his knees, laying the new carpet for the family room. There was a sheen of sweat covering his bare torso.

She’d met him a year ago on another job she’d been doing, and right before she’d agreed to a date with Bryce. Jesse had been sexy beyond words then, the way his jeans hugged his legs and ass, his black T-shirt hugging his torso, and man, he looked even better now. His muscles were even bigger than they were before. She worried her bottom lip between her teeth as she studied his profile. His long ebony hair tied at the nape still hung midway down his back. Jesse’s deep tan and muscular body flexed as he moved around the room, and yes, there they were, those big, brown, smoky eyes staring at her once again.

A year away from the man hadn’t changed anything. Neither had the time she had spent trying to fit into Bryce’s life, and she truly had tried to fit in. After all, Bryce had treated her like a princess when they had first started dating. Now she felt more like a possession. She’d often wondered what it would have been like to have gone out with Jesse Hartley, and thought she’d lost her chance. There was just something about Jesse. Maybe she’d done the right thing by avoiding him a year ago, but for some reason she had her regrets as well. She was a little afraid that this time Jesse would be able to charm her right out of her fancy panties.

Today's teaser is from my second book 'The Outlaw's Lady'

Cora’s face felt hot and flaming. She’d die of embarrassment if he could see her face and know what she was thinking. With each sway of the horse, her buttocks caressed back and forth across something hard, and growing harder. She tried to take her mind off it, but was finding it hard to do.

For today's teaser I'm going back to my very first book ever. One True Love

Her gown was too long and seemed to keep getting in his way. He grew frustrated with it, so he ripped it off and threw it to the floor. He began kissing her face from side to side, and then down the column of her neck. Taking a pert nipple between his teeth, he gently nibbled at it, then sucked it into his hot mouth. He hadn't meant for things to go this far. He was sure she would have gone away when he called her by another name. What the hell was he thinking? What the hell was he doing? He didn't know. All he knew was that he couldn't stop now.

Today's teaser is from Tabby's Touch

Ted didn’t hear the door open, he felt it. A shift in the air, a tightening in his chest, the kind of instinctive awareness that came before a storm. When he finally looked up, Tabby was standing in the doorway, framed by the sun shining through just behind her like something conjured out of the thoughts he’d been trying to bury.

Her presence changed the room. The air thickened, the shadows stretched, and the quiet hum of the shower down the hall suddenly felt like a countdown.

“Tabitha, what the hell are you doing?” His voice was low, strained, as if he were holding back something with claws...just like Brian had said that first day.

She stepped inside without hesitation, her confidence unsettling in its calmness. She moved like she already knew the effect she had on him…like she’d studied it, memorized it, and came here to test how far she could push him before he broke.

She was wearing a little red halter top that looked like her firm young breasts were about to hang out, and those shorts. Damn they were so short her ass cheeks were showing. He wanted her more than he’d ever wanted anything in his life, and he’d wanted a lot when he was younger.

“Your sister is in the other room,” he said, forcing the words out. “And Brian could come home at any minute.”

She didn’t flinch. If anything, her eyes sharpened as though danger only made her bolder.

The light caught her hair, turning it into a halo that didn’t match the intent in her gaze. She moved closer, slow, and deliberate, her expression unreadable except for the certainty in her eyes. She knew exactly what she was doing. And she knew exactly what he was fighting.

Cassandra’s shower still ran behind the closed bathroom door, steam drifting faintly into the hallway. She’d said she was hanging out with a friend, and time slipped away from her. She hadn’t had the time to go home and shower before heading to work. She said she was in the neighborhood and wondered what his home looked like anyway, so she thought she would shower here. He must have forgotten to lock the door back. He’d been surprised when he opened the door and saw her. Of course, she wasn’t there for sex, which really didn’t bother him anyway. He wouldn’t have fucked her even if she had been. It wasn’t like she did anything that turned him…ever.

He’d been dreaming about Tabby for nights, about that night in the woods. Dreams that clung to him long after waking, leaving him restless and raw. He’d nearly said her name earlier, nearly let it slip in front of Cassandra. The memory made his stomach twist. He’d been waiting for Cassandra to finish showering and leave so he could head into the club to do inventory.

He should have stood up. Should have told her to leave as soon as she stepped through the door. Should have put distance between them before he did something he couldn’t take back.

But he didn’t move. He sat there, pulse hammering, watching her approach like a man on a mission. He felt like he was watching a fuse burn toward a powder keg, but he couldn’t move as he stared at her.

“You’re not even going to pretend you don’t want me?” she questioned, her voice soft but edged with something dangerous. “We both know that you want me.”

He groaned as his cock reacted to her as soon as he looked at her and then jumped to attention as soon as the heat of her surrounded him when she straddled him on the couch. How could she turn him on so much, and so quickly? Damn, he wanted to reach between them and release his aching cock, slide past those little shorts, and find her sweet pussy. Could he fuck her fast enough that no one would catch them? He had a feeling that it wouldn’t take him long to ejaculate. She was too tempting to ignore.

“I know it makes it even hotter thinking we could get caught any second, don’t you think?” she teased, caressing the side of his face with her own.

“I don’t think it’s hot at all.” He swallowed hard. “Get up. Leave me alone.”

But she didn’t. Her confidence only deepened, settling over her like a second skin.

“It doesn’t feel like you want me to leave you alone,” she squirmed against his aching cock. “I want to touch you again, Ted. I want to see you tasting me again.”

The room felt darker now, shadows pooling in the corners. The faint scent of her shampoo and arousal drifted toward him, so sweet, warm, unmistakably her, and it twisted something deep inside him. He hated how easily she got under his skin. Hated how much he wanted her. Hated that wanting her felt like losing control.

“You know you want me and I can feel just how much. Why don’t you just give in and let it happen?”

“Tabitha…” His voice cracked, a warning he couldn’t finish.

Teaser 1 from my current manuscript.

“So, tell me which one of these lucky people is your current sub?” David asked, looking around the room.

“The sexy blonde over in the corner, standing by herself.” Travis nodded his head in Georgia’s direction as he released David.

“Pretty,” David smiled.

“Yeah, not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, though,” he declared.

David laughed. “What’s wrong with that? She looks good and has a great body.”

“I want her to be able to function without me as well as with me. I don’t want a living doll that I’ll have to dress and tell what to do every second of every damn day. I feel like I can’t even breathe.

“So, get rid of her,” David suggested.

“I want to find her a good Master. She’s a good person, but she’s more of a slave than a sub.”

“So, you’ve taken it upon yourself once more to be someone’s guardian angel,” David accused.

“You seem to have turned out pretty well.” Travis answered thinking back to when he’d taken David in. He’d been homeless, and Travis had fed him, taught him to dress and act properly, and introduced him to all the right people.

“Yes, and I love you for it.”

“I know you do, and that pleases me more than you know.” Travis knew David loved him more as a friend than anything else, and that was what pleased him so much. He cared for David, even loved him in his own way, but he wasn’t in love with him.

“May I help you?” the chef asked without looking up.

“I certainly hope so.” Travis smiled, thinking of all the ways the man could help him. He watched as the chef laid his pen down on the table and finally looked up at him.

His eyes were a beautiful cobalt blue. His lips were full, pink, and very kissable.

“Was there a problem with your meal or your service this evening?”

“No,” he shook his head. “Everything was to my satisfaction. It always is when I dine here.”

“Was there something else I could do for you?”

Travis thought it best just to come straight to the point. No sense in pussy-footing around when there was something you really wanted to know.

“Have you ever been with a Dom?”

“What sort of question—No,” the chef answered with a chuckle. “Do I strike you as a man who wants to be told what to do and when to do it?”

“I’m not sure what sort of man you strike me as being. Maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part. Still, I have to ask. Would you ever consider trying it?”

“Are you seriously asking me to be your submissive, here in front of everyone?”

“If I am?” Travis asked arching a dark brow. He waited for the man to either acknowledge that he was gay or wasn’t. He felt his cock hardening in his dress slacks with the look on the man’s face and the nervous way his tongue darted out to lick his suddenly dry lips.

“What makes you think I’m into men? I happen to be living with an incredibly beautiful woman.”

“There’s absolutely nothing wrong with liking or wanting both. Are you in love with this beautiful woman you’re living with?”

“I love her,” he said with a nod.

“That’s not what I asked. I asked if you are in love with her.”

“I’m not sleeping with her if that’s what you’re asking.” The chef answered.
